Bosch has been at the core of automotive performance from the very dawn of the 20th century when a 35 horsepower Mercedes car won the Nice – Salon – Nice race, in France. Under the hood of that car was a Bosch magneto ignition system. Since then, Bosch continued to strive for victory in the field of motorsport as well as expanding and becoming a worldwide provider of automotive components for OEMs around the world.

Out of the passion for Motorsport, in the 1980’s, the Bosch EKP4 fuel pump was born. The 0580254044 was introduced as a high-flow, high-performance solution for the needs of the road enthusiasts. Together with its race-engineered counterpart, the EKP4 set the benchmark in performance fuel supply for decades, the “044” becoming a household powerhouse.

Now, the classic Bosch „044“ Performance Pump has evolved. The new pump is smaller and lighter with more installation options and a longer lifetime under severe conditions. Meet the new Benchmark:

This new pump is now released for both Diesel and gasoline applications and offers over twice the lifetime of the previous 044 due to the high quality materials used and its robust design. Combined with an increase in flow by 50L/hr after just 30 hours of break-in, we are confident the new 200 pump will quickly become your new favorite.

And for those out there who are looking to shed every last bit of excess weight off your projects, our new pump is now 18% lighter than the “044” it replaces.
